Patient Accounts Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately bill patient accounts and ensure timely submission and reimbursement from third-party payers
• Resolve billing issues and maintain proper documentation in the billing system
• Communicate with patients and payers to address inquiries and follow up on aged accounts

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Must complete team member development within 6 months of hire date
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in revenue cycle
