Patient Accounts Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Process credit balances and invoices, ensuring proper documentation for refunds
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and reports related to accounts receivable
• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Education equivalent to completion of the 12th grade or a GED
• A minimum of one year of medical billing experience with a focus on accounts receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with IDX-BAR preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
