Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Specialist II - Physicians Billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounts receivable follow-up and collection procedures for timely reimbursement from third-party carriers
• Assist in creating and implementing training materials for team development and planning work activities
• Investigate and resolve insurance claim rejections while maintaining productive relationships with payer representatives

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in hospital/physician patient accounts or equivalent experience required
• Proficiency in using automated billing systems, specifically GE IDX and ETM
• Knowledge of billing and collection laws, hospital protocols, and third-party claims
• Ability to lead, monitor daily activities, and evaluate team performance
