Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clerical Patient Admission Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain communication with clients, family members, and referral sources
  • Partner with agency staff and referral sources to achieve optimal patient satisfaction and outcomes
  • Facilitate the timely acceptance or decline of referrals based on predetermined criteria
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience in home care, hospice, or personal care services, preferred
  • Prior use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferred
  • Experience dealing with various payors in healthcare, such as Medicare and Medicaid, preferred
