Job Summary

To support patient needs, the remote Patient Advocacy Specialist will manage inbound and outbound calls, assist with medical claims inquiries, and ensure a positive experience for patients navigating their healthcare options.

Key responsibilities
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide first-call resolution for healthcare questions and concerns
  • Guide patients through the medical claims process, ensuring they understand payment options and insurance claim statuses
  • Document patient interactions accurately and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or patient advocacy
  • Familiarity with insurance processes and medical terminology
  • Proficiency with call center software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingual skills preferred, particularly in English and Spanish
