Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Advocate to support patients with insurance coverage appeals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advocacy and support to patients denied insurance coverage
- Communicate with payers to follow up on appeal statuses and obtain necessary documentation
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and tracking reports related to appeals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience in the medical device industry, Medicare appeals, or clinical record review
- Working knowledge of insurance processes
- Technology savvy with ability to navigate payer portal systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
