Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Advocate, Remote 1099.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Medicare patients, building trusting relationships
- Support care coordination, including appointment scheduling and connecting patients to community resources
- Document all patient interactions and maintain communication with supervising clinicians for ongoing evaluation
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in patient advocacy, care coordination, or healthcare navigation
- Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, particularly Medicare
- Experience working with older adults or medically complex populations
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Demonstrated competencies in service coordination and patient advocacy
