Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Advocate Specialist to assist patients in resolving account balances for medical services and determining eligibility for assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients for eligibility of State and Federal programs and assist with applications
  • Maintain positive relationships with patients and provide guidance throughout the application process
  • Document patient interactions and follow up on applications to secure benefits
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
  • Experience with medical coding or billing is a plus
  • Proficient PC knowledge with typing speed of 30-40 wpm
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
