Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Advocate Specialist to assist patients in resolving account balances and securing assistance from government programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients for eligibility of state and federal assistance programs
  • Assist patients with applications for appropriate assistance programs and provide guidance throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the CUBS system and follow up on applications until resolution
Required Qualifications and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Prefer previous customer service or call center experience
  • Prefer experience with medical coding or billing
  • Proficient PC knowledge with typing speed of 30-40 wpm
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
