Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Advocate Specialist to assist patients in resolving account balances for medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients for eligibility for state and federal assistance programs
  • Assist patients with applications for appropriate assistance programs and provide guidance throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the CUBS system and follow up on applications until benefits are secured
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
  • Experience with medical coding or billing is preferred
  • Proficient PC knowledge and typing ability (30-40 wpm)
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in job responsibilities
