Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Advocate Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen patients for eligibility of State and Federal programs
  • Assist patients with applications for appropriate assistance programs
  • Follow up with assigned accounts to secure benefits for patients
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service/call center experience preferred
  • Previous experience with medical coding or billing preferred
  • Proficient PC knowledge and typing skills (30-40 wpm)
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with coworkers, patients, and outside agencies
