Patient Authorization Representative

Job Summary

To ensure patient account reimbursement, the full-time Patient Authorization Representative will obtain complex insurance information, partner with Care Management for clinical data, and secure necessary authorizations in a remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information for reimbursement
• Collaborate with Care Management to provide required clinical information
• Ensure proper authorizations are in place for patient accounts

Required qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare registration
• Previous healthcare experience in a provider or payor setting
• Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations
