Job Summary
Ensuring patients have adequate insurance coverage, the full-time Patient Benefits Advisor will manage appointment scheduling, assist with account inquiries, and obtain necessary prior authorizations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, both in-person and over the phone
- Coordinate with scheduling departments to arrange patient appointments and obtain prior authorizations
- Update patient accounts with accurate insurance information and submit referral documentation promptly
Required qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
