Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Billing & Communication Advocate Specialist in Revenue Cycle Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and account resolutions
  • Review and explain patient accounts, charges, payments, and financial responsibilities
  • Document all communications and actions taken in the patient account system according to HIPAA guidelines


Required Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience of 5 plus years
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical billing or financial clearance role
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and handling of protected health information (PHI)
  • Working knowledge of insurance policies, billing procedures, and claim terminology
  • Preference for candidates with experience in laboratory billing software such as Telcor, Xifin, or Quadax
