Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Patient Care Advocate will assist patients by answering calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and addressing medical requests in a fast-paced call center environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the front line of communication by answering patient inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information and appointment scheduling
  • Maintain call center performance metrics while resolving patient issues with minimal supervision
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
  • Two+ years of experience in an inbound call center environment
  • One year of healthcare experience, such as working as a medical assistant or in a patient-facing role
  • Strong telephone soft skills gained from prior customer or patient service experience
  • Familiarity with the EPIC system is a plus
