Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary

To support patient care initiatives, the full-time Patient Care Coordinator will manage patient inquiries, assist with drug therapy issues, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers while working remotely from Kentucky or Southern Indiana.

Key responsibilities

• Answers and resolves patient inquiries within committed time frames
• Assists patients with drug therapy and pharmacy care issues, promoting drug compliance
• Coordinates with healthcare teams to troubleshoot and resolve patient and payer issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related call center or similar environment
• Preferred education in business administration, accountancy, or related fields, ideally with an associate's degree
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
