Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Patient Care Coordinator will manage patient inquiries, promote drug compliance, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers while addressing pharmacy care issues.
Key responsibilities
- Answers and resolves patient inquiries within committed time frames
- Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships with physician practices to streamline communication
- Participates in the administration of the patient's pharmacy care plan and troubleshoots issues in a timely manner
Required qualifications
- High school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related call center or similar environment
- Preferred education in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or computer sciences, typically from a two-year associate degree program
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals within the organization
