Job Summary
To enhance patient support, the full-time Patient Care Coordinator will manage patient inquiries, assist with drug therapy issues, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Answers and resolves patient inquiries within committed time frames
- Assists patients with drug therapy and pharmacy care issues while promoting drug compliance
- Coordinates communication between patients, healthcare providers, and payers to streamline care
Required qualifications
- High school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related call center or similar environment
- Preferred education in business administration, accountancy, or related fields, ideally with an associate's degree
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
