Job Summary
To support patient needs, the full-time Patient Care Coordinator will manage inquiries, assist with drug therapy and pharmacy care issues, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve patient inquiries and promote drug compliance within committed time frames
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with physician practices and other healthcare parties
- Participate in the administration of patient pharmacy care plans and troubleshoot related issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related call center, physician's office, or social service environment
- Preferred education in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or related fields, ideally with a two-year associate degree
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals within the organization
