Job Summary
Empathetic and patient-focused, the full-time Patient Care Coordinator will manage inbound calls from patients and providers, assist with insurance inquiries, and provide triage support in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Take inbound calls from patients, providers, and members, addressing their healthcare needs
- Support members with insurance-related questions and help navigate their health insurance options
- Provide 24/7 triage support, prioritizing cases for Registered Nurse assistance
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Healthcare experience such as medical front office, PBX/911 Operator, or similar roles
- Strong computer skills, including data entry and navigation
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Able to work mid-day and nights with alternating days off
