Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the part-time Patient Care Coordinator will manage referral processes, obtain and track authorizations, and respond to inquiries in a fully remote healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external referrals, including daily referral reconciliation activities
• Review, gather, and process required referral documentation while meeting established turnaround times
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients, providers, and other callers with referral inquiries and scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 1 year of healthcare-related experience
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
