Job Summary

A healthcare company is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain knowledge of admission, registration, and pre-registration requirements
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Answer phones to assist clinics and patients

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle related role
• 1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare environment
• Understanding of insurance policies and procedures
• Basic knowledge of ICD - 9 (10) and CPT terminology
