Patient Collections Representative

Job Summary

Providing support and assistance to patients, the full-time Patient Collections Representative will manage incoming and outbound calls related to self-pay balances, review patient accounts receivable, and post payments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with inquiries regarding self-pay balances through calls
• Review assigned patient accounts to determine assistance options and next steps
• Post patient payments and adjustments according to standard operating procedures

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Six months of medical experience preferred
• One year of customer service and accounts receivable experience
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Strong organizational skills
