Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and collect post-service patient financial responsibility amounts
• Discuss financing options and respond to patient inquiries regarding insurance and billing
• Document payment records and initiate private pay collections as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical billing and healthcare customer service
• 2+ years of experience with collections
• Strong knowledge of third-party insurance payer guidelines
• High School diploma/GED; Medical Billing Certificate preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
