Patient Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support EMS claim resolution, the remote Patient Collections Research Specialist will gather and enter necessary patient information, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements while managing a high volume of tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Research, gather, and update patient demographic information for EMS claim payment
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account discrepancies and missing information
• Communicate with external parties to obtain or verify required documentation and details

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across departments
• Professional phone presence for outreach communications
• Solid computer proficiency and comfort with multiple systems
• Previous experience handling sensitive information is beneficial
