Patient Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing behavioral health practice, the full-time hourly Patient Collections Specialist will manage inbound and outbound patient communications, resolve outstanding balances, and set up payment plans while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all functions related to the collection of payments on patient accounts
• Communicate directly with patients regarding their financial responsibilities for services rendered
• Manage inbound and outbound phone calls, answering questions, processing payments, and resolving issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• One year of clerical experience in a health care setting preferred, with call center experience being a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
