Job Summary
To support a growing pharmacy service, the full-time Patient Contact Center Representative will manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, assist patients with medication regimens, and ensure timely follow-up communication, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of calls professionally, following scripts and protocols to assess patient needs and coordinate care
- Document interactions accurately in pharmacy software and route calls to appropriate pharmacy staff for urgent issues
- Provide information about pharmacy services, including medication delivery and prescription status, while ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
- At least 1 year of experience in a contact center, patient-facing provider office, or customer service role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook and Teams, with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Familiarity with healthcare industry compliance regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
