Job Summary

To support patient access and care, the full-time Patient Contact Specialist will manage scheduling medical appointments, handle non-scheduling inquiries, and maintain accurate patient information while working remotely from home in Pennsylvania.

Key responsibilities
  • Completes appointment scheduling, cancellations, and confirmations by aligning patient preferences with physician-specific guidelines
  • Responds to non-scheduling inquiries and routes calls appropriately to ensure efficient patient communication
  • Coordinates accurate registration and insurance information to facilitate timely payment for services while scheduling appointments
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience is required
  • Proficiency in computer operations and ability to navigate multiple software applications
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a quiet, dedicated workspace with a high-speed internet connection
