Patient Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Coordinator (Remote) to support patient care coordination and enhance the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries regarding referrals, medications, imaging, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and facilities to ensure effective patient care coordination
• Manage referrals, scheduling, and communication regarding patient care services

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of customer service or healthcare experience preferred
• 1+ years of experience with EHR systems, preferably athenaOne
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes required
• Experience working remotely in high-volume call environments preferred
