Job Summary
Serving as the first point of contact for patients, the full-time Patient Coordinator will manage incoming calls, document patient needs, and facilitate communication with nurses in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answers incoming calls using approved scripting for emergency and non-emergency situations
- Identifies and forwards calls to nurses while documenting non-medical information accurately
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information and communicates issues of concern to management
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
- 1+ years of customer service experience required, with inbound call center experience preferred
- 1+ years of healthcare experience desired
- Intermediate to proficient computer skills
- Ability to handle confidential information and accurately document patient data
