Job Summary

Patient Engagement Advocate provides remote support to patients and providers through inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and addressing customer needs in a full-time hourly role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to incoming calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system
  • Document patient requests and maintain knowledge of site protocols and physician schedules
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily call production goals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of related experience in a call center, customer service, or medical office
  • Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and manage multiple computer programs
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and state/federal regulations relevant to the position
