Job Summary

Patient Engagement Advocate provides remote support to patients and providers through inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and documenting patient information, with a focus on meeting key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system
  • Document patient requests and maintain knowledge of site protocols and physician schedules
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily call production goals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in a call center, customer service, or medical office setting
  • Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal distractions
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
