Patient Engagement Associate - PA Licensed

Job Summary

Supporting patient interactions in a remote full-time capacity, the Patient Engagement Associate - PA Licensed will manage appointment scheduling, referrals, and pre-authorizations while delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Strives to understand and anticipate patient needs, managing service recovery efforts as necessary
• Answers calls and processes patient requests efficiently, documenting encounters thoroughly in the EMR system
• Schedules patient appointments and communicates necessary information to ensure patients are well-prepared for their visits

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of medical office or customer service experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
• Ability to understand insurance requirements and billing procedures
• A degree may be considered in lieu of experience
