Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Filter discharge lists and prepare actionable call lists for the Patient Engagement Team
Verify insurance eligibility and document details accurately in WellSky
Monitor pending cases, escalate issues, and ensure accurate tagging and reporting of PET cases

Required Qualifications

2+ years of healthcare insurance verification experience, preferably with Medicare
Experience in Home Health, CHHA, or post-acute settings is preferred
Strong knowledge of Medicare eligibility, benefit periods, and prior authorizations
EMR experience, preferably with WellSky
Able to manage and track high-volume cases effectively
