Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Engagement & Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and account resolution
• Manage patient calls and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding balances
• Educate patients on insurance benefits and assist with payment plans and financial assistance applications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a college degree preferred or equivalent education
• Minimum of 5 years in medical billing or a related revenue cycle role
• Behavioral health experience preferred
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare billing concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare billing systems
