Patient Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

Passionate about improving patient experiences, the full-time Patient Engagement Specialist will process new referrals, validate insurance eligibility, and educate patients about organizational programs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Informs and promotes organizational programs to patients, guiding them through the enrollment process
• Completes virtual outreach to patients referred from partnering providers and processes their information accurately
• Coordinates patient enrollment aspects, including eligibility determination, scheduling, and device ordering

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health-related field is a plus
• Two or more years of customer service, sales, or direct patient-facing experience
• Experience working with the senior population in home health or clinics is preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fully virtual environment
• Empathy and passion for delivering an exceptional patient experience
