Patient Finance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Finance Specialist to manage and process patient refund requests while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient refund and credits workflows, including reviewing and processing refunds
• Serve as the subject matter expert for patient credit SalesForce cases and resolve complex refund issues
• Reconcile patient accounts and maintain detailed documentation of refund activities

Required Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing or equivalent claims experience
• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role preferred
• 1 year of experience with athenaHealth and/or athena One
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
