Patient Finance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Finance Specialist responsible for managing patient refund requests and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the patient refund and credits workflows, including reviewing and processing refunds
• Serve as the subject matter expert for patient credit SalesForce cases and resolve account discrepancies
• Communicate with patients regarding refunds and coach staff on proper refund procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a medical billing office or equivalent claims experience
• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role preferred
• 1 year of experience with athenaHealth and/or athena One
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
