Patient Financial Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Advocate - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients in coordinating necessary services and connecting them to financial resources
• Determine acquisition costs and reimbursement ratios for requested therapies
• Address and resolve billing, coding, and reimbursement issues with relevant departments

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare billing, coding, or insurance
• Experience with CPT coding and ICD-10 coding is highly preferred
• Familiarity with prior authorization processes and insurance reviews is preferred
• Knowledge of financial sponsorship policies and procedures for patients
