Patient Financial Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Advocate who will assist patients in navigating their financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on insurance benefits and payment options, including financial assistance
• Act as an advocate for patients by contacting insurance carriers and other sources
• Initiate collection processes and follow up to maximize collections

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and three years of customer-facing experience, or
• Associate's Degree and two years of experience, or
• Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience
• Ability to manage sensitive financial conversations professionally
• Experience with Epic and Cisco Systems is preferred
