- Assist patients in navigating financial responsibilities related to healthcare services
- Resolve patient account disputes and establish payment agreements or charity care
- Track and document patient issues, ensuring resolution within 24 hours
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a high-volume customer service healthcare environment
- In-depth knowledge of patient accounts, collections, and insurance regulations
- Knowledge of third-party payers, Medicare, and physician billing
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD coding requirements
