Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time Patient Financial Advocate will manage inbound and outbound calls, set up payment arrangements, and assist patients with medical billing inquiries while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Set up acceptable payment arrangements on current self-pay balances
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, data entry, and update account information
- Assist patients by answering basic medical billing and insurance questions
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year medical billing experience, preferably with Epic, NextGen, or IDX
- Dedicated, quiet workspace at home during work hours
- Hard-wired internet connection of 50 MB or more
- Ability to meet minimum performance levels and KPIs
- Desire to make a difference and help others
