Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficiency of financial clearance functions and maintain a trained staff for patient handling
• Manage pre-registration tasks, including insurance verification and securing payer authorizations
• Design and implement performance improvement processes to enhance quality and efficiency in patient financial clearance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, health care administration, or a related field
• Five years of experience in revenue cycle management in a health care setting
• Knowledge of hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and revenue cycle technologies
• Understanding of third-party payer rules and regulations
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends related to revenue write-offs
