Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Clearance Representative I.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes insurance verification and benefit determination processes for all insurance plans
• Contacts patients to obtain updated information and follows up on pending authorizations
• Identifies and escalates coverage issues and assists with financial counseling as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• One year of experience in patient registration and insurance verification in a medical organization
• Knowledge of healthcare payers and relevant regulations
• Experience with Epic software preferred
• No specific licenses or certifications required
