Patient Financial Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Recovery Specialist to assist hospital patients with their accounts and payment responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and place outbound calls to assist patients with their account inquiries
• Set up payment arrangements and process credit card payments for unpaid balances
• Research insurance information and maintain accurate account notes in relevant systems

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
• Experience with the medical billing process is preferred
• Proficient PC knowledge and ability to type 30-40 wpm
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
