Job Summary
Providing customer service to hospital patients, the full-time Patient Financial Recovery Specialist will assist with account inquiries, manage payment options, and process transactions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to incoming patient calls and initiate outbound calls to assist with account management
- Process credit card payments and gather updated insurance information to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate account notes and achieve designated collection and productivity objectives
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably within a call center environment
- Familiarity with the medical billing process is preferred
- Proficient in PC operations with typing skills of 30-40 words per minute
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance guidelines
