Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and reconcile billing errors or omissions
• Ensure proper charge capture, billing, and adjudication of claims in accordance with guidelines
• Monitor Discharged Not Final Billed (DNFB) to minimize the volume and value of accounts held

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in hospital or physician billing office
• Two years of experience in a hospital or physician billing office
• Knowledge of hospital/clinic billing and collections, payor remittances, and medical terminology
• Familiarity with CPT's, HCPCS, and Revenue Codes
• Understanding of major insurance companies' billing policies to ensure compliance
