Job Summary

To support the Resolution team, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative 4 will manage the timely editing, submission, and follow-up of assigned insurance claims while working remotely from designated states.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensures clean claims are submitted promptly and accurately, serving in the absence of the supervisor or manager
  • Resolves complex issues by coordinating actions with team members, Patient Accounts staff, and payers
  • Documents account activity and maintains knowledge of payer requirements and hospital policies
Required qualifications
  • Associate Degree or three additional years of relevant experience
  • Three years of experience in revenue cycle, finance, customer service, or data analytics
  • Expertise in Insurance Follow-Up Resolutions is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in hospital billing systems and insurance verification portals
  • Extensive understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance policies
