Patient Financial Services Rep

Job Summary

To ensure timely follow-up on accounts receivable, the full-time Patient Financial Services Rep will manage variances, denials, and no payments for all payers while working remotely during daytime hours.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze prior account activity and take necessary actions to resolve outstanding accounts receivable
• Perform daily follow-up related to collections and denials, driving accounts towards resolution
• Identify trends and issues, escalating accounts as needed to minimize aging and improve processes

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or post-high school diploma/highest degree earned
• Two years of experience in medical billing, customer service, follow-up, or medical office settings
• CRCA or CRCR certification preferred
