Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Representative 4 - Insurance Follow Up.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures timely submission of clean claims and serves in place of the supervisor or manager when needed
• Resolves complex issues by coordinating with team members, Patient Accounts staff, and payers
• Documents account activity accurately and maintains knowledge of payer requirements and hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or three additional years of relevant experience
• Experience: 3 years in revenue cycle, finance, customer service, or data analytics
• Expertise in Insurance Follow-Up Authorizations is highly preferred
• Proficiency in hospital billing systems and insurance verification portals
• Extensive understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance policies
